Diversity Management
in Europe
Minerva Foundation
Falun, 2001
ISBN 91-631-1055-5 |
Diversity Management in
Europe is a case based report of best practise. The book gives
a view of what diversity is from a European perspective and why
diversity management is needed. The book is built on the work
from the Leonardo da Vinci project "Diversity in Europe"
carried out with six European partners. Twelve pilot case studies
and more than 60 interviews were carried out in co-operation with
companies, organisations and public sectors in the six partners
countries. Each partner has with its unique knowledge in its own
area contributed to developing a new European managing diversity
tool, the "Spiral-Wheel". This new tool shows that diversity
management is not a final goal, it is a way of managing and therefore
a dynamic journey that never ends.
